TO DIRECTIONERS... from 5sosfam (only me)

Okay, so first things first, if you hate 5sos, you're very welcome to leave. I've been with them for a year, specifically since wherever you are and contrary to what everyone thinks, I didn't found them because of 1D.  I found them through the Wherever you are TT that time. I watched the vid and got hooked up. That's the brief story, really. 

These guys are four of the most genuine people I know. Honestly, the fans from 2013, 2012 or earlier than that have witnessed the fam grow but we also witnessed how the hate against them grew bigger. I know what they say, successful people gets more hate, but this is different. These guys... save me, us. I can't just sit down and not say something about it. 

I'm a Smiler and proud on that one too but I watched One Direction grow, I watched people ship Larry, I watched the dramas and I watched how the fans became tighter. But these past few months, I saw how vicious this fandom could be. Can't you see it? You hate Taylor, you hate Perrie, you hate Sophia, you hate Eleanor, you hate ATL, you hate The Wanted, some fans are even sending death threats, you hate 5sos when the boys (esp. Niall) love them.  

guys, for years, I saw how invincible Directioners are and I know you're upset because of that "Replace Louis with Luke" sign. I know you're upset because some 5sosfam thinks 5sos are better than 1D. I know that sometimes, you think that 5sos aren't grateful enough. You see, as a 5sosfam member, I am forever sorry about that sign. Even I, won't want Luke to replace Louis, he's just not for 1D, he's only for 5SOS. But do you think, you're being unfair to most of us? We were sisters before that. We supported each other. But that one sign changed it all. And you know what? That's only a SINGLE opinion. Only one fan did that, I don't even consider her as a fan at all. Why do we all have to take the blame for that? especially 5sos?

5sosfam is a far from perfect fandom (obv SLSP wasn't written for us). Some fans send hate. I know and I see it and I'm sorry about them. But really, sometimes, we're just misunderstood. I'm really sassy and sarcastic but I don't mean to be rude. Most of our convos aren't even about other fandoms, mostly they're about 5sos humiliating themselves, groupies, punk rock, ATL, new songs, EPs, Blink, Greenday etc. i can't speak for the others, but honestly, I don't even have time to hate other fandoms. 

Anyway, I just want to put this out there: I'm sorry guys. I'm sorry for the hates you receive from 5sosfam. It was like our number 1 rule to never send hate but it still happened. I'm sorry if some of us are so immature and downright stubborn at times. I'm sorry if some Directioners left the fandom for 5sos but hey, I believe that the boys still hold a special place in their hearts. If not, then those fans are FAKE. Directioners don't deserve them and neither do us but unfortunately, they're inevitable. Again, I'm sorry. 

i don't know if this simple blog post can make things right between these two fandoms. Honestly, I was hurt when I saw tweets saying that they will support Demi just to see 5sos lose.  I was hurt when you call them 5 trash or 5STD. I was hurt when you say that they're not talented. That they're not worth it. That they're ugly. They're gay. They're fake. they're copying 1D. And let's face it, 5sos aren't perfect... they're far from perfect just like us. 

Both fandoms are hurt because of this ongoing hate war between us. Idk about you but if you're not affected by these fandom wars, then maybe you don't really care about these guys at all. #sorrynotsorry 

how can you even stay still when people bash your idol/sunshine/bae/inspiration? 

The bottomline of this blog though is I miss the connection 5sosfam had with the Directioners before. I miss the inside jokes we all shared. Do you remember it? Do you remember the Teenage Dirtbag cover they all did in TMH tour? Do you remember the Kiss you Prank? Do you remember when Niall was attacked by Michael's banana (sorry, that sounds wrong)? Do you remember when 1D sang SLSP and Niall almost sung the whole song by himself? He even imitated Luke's voice. Do you remember when they tackled Louis in the dressing room? When Harry gave Michael a hickey? When 5sos sung Happy Birthday for Liam? When Zayn drew 5sos? When 5sos defended Zayn from haters? When Niall and 5sos group hugged through a webcam? etc. 5sos and 1D are creating more beautiful memories but we create bashful comments about each fandom. Ironic right? 

I still love you though. I will always love the sisters I found from Directioners. Will you still love us?
